Laura Graziano and Barbara Sullivan are members of a committee that is striving to convert previously unused property into a vibrant arts and recreation center at 1969 Washington St. that will open in the early spring.

“We are working hard to make this a reality,” said Graziano, who serves on the Friends of the Braintree Community Arts Center with Sullivan, Joan Carroll, Lauren Crook, Kelly Draicchio, Heidi Hurley, Maggi Johnson, Ronna Petrilli, Ann Toland and Mary Ann Wilbur. “We are hoping to make this a special place for adults and children to enjoy.”
